  • The Royal Engineers

    Year 5 and 6 visited The Royal Engineers Museum as part of their WW2 and Battle of Britain topic. They got to make V2 rockets and find out about life on the home front.

  • TT Rockstars Winner

    The results of the TTRockstars competition are in and we are very proud to announce that James in Year 6 came top in the South East out of 30,676 students from secondary, primary and specialist provision schools. Well done James, what an amazing achievement! Onyx Class came 4th out of 2,609 classes and the whole school came 12 in the primary category. A huge well done to everyone who took part and thank you for coming together to work as a team. Together We Thrive!

    Congratulations to Arthur, James and Alfie who attended the creative writing awards presentation this morning. We have some very talented writers and teachers!

  • Faversham Literacy Festival

    Congratulations to everyone who entered The Faversham Literacy Festival this year. James, Year 4 received second place, with his short story Bob the Naughty Polar Bear. Alfie (Year 4) and Arthur (Year 4) receiving highly commended. There will be a presentation at the Guildhall on Saturday 17th February. James’ story will be read by the children’s author Penny Chrimes. 

  • STEM Week

    Ethelbert Road have had the most amazing week learning about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and how people working in these fields come together to invent some fantastic things. This week was kicked off with an assembly which explored what is STEM and the future jobs our children might have.

  • Name the gritter competition

    A big thank you to Toni and Melany from KCC who came to visit us with Frosty the Snowvan!!

    The children were really excited to hear about the work that Frosty will be doing and were very surprised when they were told that Frosty can hold up to 10 tonnes of salt!

    Isabel, who named the gritter, said she was super proud to see her winning name on it.
