Monday Morning Message
Good morning Purple Class!
I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend and that you are all set for another week’s worth of learning! I was so impressed with all your hard work last week. It has been wonderful to keep in touch with you and I have loved seeing your fantastic work that you are doing at home. I hope you have enjoyed seeing the pictures I have posted on our class gallery. It looks like you are really enjoying our dinosaur topic and I hope you are excited to learn more about our topic.
This week we start a new class book: Dinosaurs and all that Rubbish. It is a book about the environment, and we will be doing lots of lovely work from it this week, including lots of descriptive writing.
We begin a new unit in maths this week: Numbers to 20. I have a personalised Numbots login for each of you to use, so please do email me requesting your login details if you would like to use this optional interactive maths game over the lockdown period.
This week, we begin our new Science unit of work; it is all about animals and I know you will all love it!
As always, please do keep in touch and keep sending me your wonderful work. If you would like feedback on a piece of work, please could this be emailed to me before Thursday evening. Perhaps you could send me Tuesday’s English work, where you are asked to write a descriptive passage or sentences describing the state of the Earth.
Please let me know if I can help or support you in anyway. Our circumstances are all different, please just do whatever home learning you can manage.
I am thinking of you all. Stay safe everyone.
Mrs Haylor
