This week - Adverbs and Instruction Writing
This week, we will be writing instructions for making something. You might like to make a pizza, bake a cake or plant a seed (broad beans are good for this time of year). Before we do that, today’s learning is about adverbs.

Task 1
Can you read through the PowerPoint below - you will learn all about adverbs and verbs.
Task 2
Make up some sentences using one verb and one adverb. Here is mine:
Mrs Kelleher spoke loudly in the classroom.
The adverb ‘loudly’ describes how I spoke in the classroom.
(The verb is 'spoke', an irregular past tense verb.)
Choose one verb and one adverb for each of your sentences:
