Now have a go at reading real and nonsense y words in the game below: Picnic on Pluto. Select phase 3 in the menu and then the y sound. Have lots of fun!
You could write a list of all the y words that appear in this game and sort them into real or nonsense. We've had a go at this and there is a photo below to give you the idea.

Our learning focus this week is to practice to read and spell words that have adjacent consonants and long vowels; such as: spoil, groan, brown, green, spoon.

Get your felt tip pens out and practice writing the words one and out on an A4 piece of paper. How many times can you write these words in a minute? Make sure that your handwriting is neat and that you are joining your letters.
