Our topic for Term 6 will be:
Australia: The Great Outdoors
Term 6
- Start time: Drop off is at 8.40am and pick-up is at 3.15pm at the Purple Class door.
- New reading books will be sent home on Fridays. Books are to be brought back in daily to allow for opportunities for your child to read to Miss Clark, Mrs Jago, or a reading volunteer. Please read with your child at home as often as possible. You can also access the online Rocket Phonics books!
- The Spelling Check will take place on Thursdays.
- P.E. is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays - please come to school in your P.E. kit and earrings are to be removed. On Tuesdays we will be going to the gym.

Thank you Year 1 for being superstars. You have all shown great progress and interest in your learning throughout the year and it has been wonderful to see how much you have grown. We can not wait to see what you accomplish as you enter Year 2.
A big thank you to our Year 1 parents! Getting to know you all and seeing your interest and engagement in your child's learning and education has been wonderful. We also thank you for our lovely gifts. It is very much appreciated.
We hope you all have an amazing summer holiday and we look forward to seeing you in September!
