Miss F's Phonics Group
Today we will be learning all about the sound x. Watch this video to find out more:
Now write the following words on pieces of paper and put them in a bag:
fix
six
box
fox
Give the bag a shake to mix them up. Take turns with your grown-up to pull out the word and sound it out. If you would like more of a challenge, ask your grown-up to write these questions on paper and take turns pulling them out, reading them and working out if the answer to the question is a yes or a no:
Can wax get hot?
Has a fox got six legs?
Can a vet fix a jet?
Will a rat visit a fox?
Can a taxi hop?
Will a dog sit in a box?
