Making Desert Creatures
Decide how you will make the desert creature of your choice. You could use playdough, plasticine, junk modelling/recycled materials or clay*. If you are lucky enough to have some clay, remember the work we did on making dragonflies – I have included some photos to remind you how to stick pieces of clay together ; score, slip, stick, smooth
Think about the work you did last week on drawing the desert creatures; your model should include the correct body parts!
Also think about the size of your creature; it is going to live in your desert shoebox!
Make your creature, allowing time for things to dry/set – paint and decorate remembering to make your creature as realistic as possible so think about the colours to use.
