Good morning Red Class and welcome to your final Monday morning message for this spell of home learning!
Yay! I absolutely cannot wait to see you in a week’s time and get us all back to some sort of normal. I hope you are looking forward to coming back to school and please do remember to start noting down all the wonderful things that you might like to share with everyone when we return next Monday.
This week, we will carry on with our USA topic by delving into New York City a little further. We will explore some of the sights and write a setting description on Wednesday. It is really important that you send your writing in as quick as possible this week as I will be making a feedback video on Thursday ready for an editing lesson on Friday.
This Thursday is World Book Day 2021 where we will have a fun Harry Potter themed day. The teachers have prepared some lovely videos of themselves reading their favourite books for you to enjoy. I’d love if you would join in at home by dressing up as your favourite characters from any book you like. Send in your photos for me to upload to our gallery - that way everyone can see how cool you look!
This is it! This is your last week learning at home (or for those of you in school, your last week in such a small group). Give it your all this week - show your parents just how much their hard work has paid off! But also, make the most of it. I know at times it has been tough for everyone - children, parents, other family members, teachers - but it has been a special time too so be sure to enjoy each other’s company this week because we’ll be back before you know it.
I cannot wait to see you. I have missed you so dearly but you have continued to make me proud every single day. You are all superstars and I am excited to see you all shine bright when we return next week.
