Week 1 The Seaside

This week we will be learning all about the Seaside in preparation for our trip to Whitstable beach on Friday 10th June. We will read the story Lucy and Tom at the Seaside. We will be discussing keeping ourselves safe at the beach as well as all the different activities you can do at the seaside. We will be drawing on the children's experiences and planning activities to do on our trip.

In Maths we will be learning all about measuring length and height. We will measure using non-standard units e.g. cubes and handprints as well as learning that we can measure length and height in centimeters.
