Adding _s or _es to make plurals
Phase 6: Plural _s and _es suffixes
This week, we are learning about adding 's' and 'es' onto the ends of words to make plurals.
Look at these sentences:
- The girl is playing happily.
- The girls are playing happily.
Can you see that by adding 's' onto the word 'girl' we can show that there is more than one girl?
