Assembly

Here is this week's collective worship assembly from Rev Daniel Corcoran (Community and Mission Priest, Faversham Benefice)https://drive.google.com/open?id=1HnfSeircnuGK9cl-hNI054dqIjS3FSs3

This week's assembly finishes with our remembering of VE Day, having looked at what makes life good, what we value in friendship, looking at "the Fruit of the Spirit" (Galatians 5): love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control and how everyone could all transform the world.
As usual, there are Disney clips, activities to think through and the song "Count on me" by Bruno Mars.

Last week you continued learning about Shabbat, the special name Jewish people have for their day of rest, as well as starting new learning on the Jewish place of worship - the Synagogue.

Here's a short video to remind you about Shabbat.

This week I'd like you to think about prayers, which are an important part of Shabbat.

Could you make up your own thank you prayer/reflection? You could think about things you are thankful for and all the good things you have, like food, family, a warm home to live in or exciting things you do with your family.

You could share this with someone you live with, or you could write it down.
