Today, we are going to move on from identifying lines of symmetry in shapes, pictures and patterns and move on to completing symmetric figures and patterns ourselves. When completing a symmetric figure, we must consider how far away each 'point' is from our line of symmetry. Be careful - it is very easy to end up with an asymmetric figure!

       Start by watching the video below. Then, log in to the Power Maths textbook and try out the Discover/Share pages. If you would like to try out the Think Together questions, please do not spend more than 10 minutes on these.
