Maths

Today is going to be very similar to yesterday but instead of completing patterns, we will be completing shapes - often with more than one line of symmetry. Be careful to consider where all of the 'mirror lines' are located and ensure that your shapes would fold along those lines to create two perfectly equal halves. If you are unsure then it maybe useful to cut it out and try folding to check.

Start by watching the video below. Please do not worry about the parts that discuss rotational symmetry as you don't need to know this just yet, nor will you be using this today. Then, log in to the Power Maths textbook and try out the Discover/Share pages. If you would like to try out the Think Together questions, please do not spend more than 10 minutes on these.
