  Wow, Year 3!! Thank you so much for sending in photos of your AMAZING self-portraits! It is clear to see that you have really thought about all the things we’ve looked at this term; the shape and proportion of a face, colour mixing for realistic skin tones, “filling the frame” and presenting your work beautifully. I have loved seeing all the “special objects” you chose to include in your work too. A huge “Well Done and Thank You!” from me.

  I hope you are enjoying one of the Peru projects; weaving or llamas? Remember, they are designed to be done over two weeks. We also have our Get Outside project going on this week so lots of lovely things to do!

  While you are outside or on your walks over Half Term, see if you can find any interesting buildings or natural features that catch your attention – could you take some photographs? Can you zoom in on details? Next term our Art & DT is going to be based around The Local Area so photos of places and things in and around Faversham will be useful. Please don’t worry if you can’t take photos – you will still be able to do the activities I have planned.

  Have a lovely, restful break Year 3 – get outside; it’s muddy but there are signs of Spring now!
