Term 4, Week 1 (22nd - 26th February)
Good morning everyone,
Welcome to Term 4!
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful half term - a chance to relax after all your hard work - and that you enjoyed the snow during Week 6!
This term, our topic is going to be a new one for Ethelbert Road. We are going to learn about the United States of America - the geography of the country, Native Americans and the Civil Rights Movement. I’m really excited to explore this topic with you. I hope you enjoy it and please let me know if there is anything in particular that you would like to learn about as I can certainly adapt the topic to cater for your ideas.
You were all incredible last term. You worked so hard despite having to adapt to home learning once again. Today we should find out when you will be returning to school so at least then we will know for certain when we will all be back together. Please keep up the hard work for the duration of your home learning time so that you are ready and raring to go when we return.
This week, I would like you all to submit your persuasive adverts to me for feedback (Friday’s English). This DOES NOT have to be a written piece and could be a recording instead if you would prefer. Please try to submit this via email by Monday 1st March for feedback. If you are unable to do so, please submit by the end of next week and I will provide feedback at the earliest opportunity.
I will be giving your parents a call either this Friday or next Friday so please let them know if you would like to talk to me too.
Have a great week!
Miss Constantine 😊
P.s. I’m still missing you lots!
