Welcome message
Welcome back
Welcome back to Term 3 of Year 3 Blue Class.
I am so sad that I don’t get to teach you all in person just yet, but don't worry IU have lots of fun learning planned for you whilst we are doing our remote learning. (As well as lots of exciting learning to look forward to when we are back in the classroom together!)
This term our topic is ‘Around the World’. We are going to kick of this topic by researching different countries. I can’t wait to find out all about the countries that you choose to learn about.
In maths we are going to pause out learning about multiplying and dividing (though please do keep challenging yourselves to improve your times tables with TTRockstars!) All the pages which are shown on the class page have also been allocated to you on Power Maths so you can see them on there as well.
There are activities for you to do for maths and English every day as well as afternoon activities linked to the lessons we would normally do each afternoon. There is an outline for each day, which I have tried to keep as similar to our usual timetable as I can. I have even read our poem of the day each day for you! If you can’t keep to this time table or it works best for you and your family to learn different things at different times of the day, please do this. The outline is there to help and guide you, not to restrict you.
Remember, I am here if you need me, just email and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Please do email if you are stuck, unsure or confused about the learning. will be asking you to send me one piece of written work every week which I will be marking and giving you feedback on. Please feel free to send me any other work you want to share with me and/ or the class as a whole. If there is work you want to share with me but not the class as a whole, please let know on the email and I will not upload it to the class gallery. The class email is y3@ethelbert-road.kent.sch.uk .
I can’t wait to hear from you all and see the brilliant things you are going to get up to! I will be working hard to make sure there is lots of fun learning to keep your brilliant brains going until we get to learn together in our classroom again!
