Week 3 Bikes 2/5/22

This week we are learning all about Bikes. We will be having a bike day where the children can bring in their bikes from home. We will be washing bikes, fixing bikes, labelling the different parts of a bike and learning lots of new vocabulary. 

Our focus book for the week is Mrs Armitage on Wheels:

In Maths this week we will be using our work on doubles to learn all about halving. We will discuss sharing objects fairly. Using real objects we will learn how to share them out between a group. The children will learn to recognise that they can't share out 3 items between 2 but they can share 4 items. This will lead on to learning about odd and even numbers.
