Week 5 Space rockets 16/5/22

This week we will be learning all about space travel. We will be making rockets out of junk modelling, large scale construction, role playing flying to space and packing for a journey.  Our focus books are Come to Tea on Planet ZumZee and The Way Back Home. We will also be writing stories and lists.

In Maths we will be revisiting addition. We will be learning about number bonds to 10 and addition by counting on. We will use tens frames and part part whole templates and we will record our calculations by writing number sentences: 4 + 2 = 6.
