Reading Books

Books

New books will be sent home on Monday 14th September. Please return them on Fridays - the children will come into school and put the books straight into a class Book Return box which will be isolated for 72 hours.  New books will then be issued on the following Monday.  We will let you know about procedures with Reading Records shortly.

 

It is important to read a range of texts - stories, non-fiction (information) and poetry too!  Also, please do not limit your child's reading to merely our reading scheme books; in fact, non-scheme books are far richer in vocabulary and content than most of the reading scheme ones!
