Year 2 enjoyed a day out at Wildwood learning about the woodland animals in their habitats and food chains. They saw so many animals and the otter put on an amazing show for us all!
Year 2 had the pleasure of working with the sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor. The children watched in amazement as Leon bravely and calmly allowed his Dad to take a cast of his face. After this, we had our hands cast and we had to hold them still for 5 minutes! We feel so lucky to have had this opportunity and we can't wait to paint our sculptures. Thank you Jason for supporting our school.
Year 2 had the most amazing trip to Syndale Farm on Tuesday which was made all the more perfect in the sunshine! They built dens, explored the natural woodland, identified leaves, used a compass, played in fields of buttercups, met Mrs Clinch's horses and enjoyed the great outdoors! What a great time was had by all.
