Good Morning Purple Class!
I hope that you all had a lovely half-term and a well-deserved rest.
Our new topic for Term 4 is all about the Weather!
As we near the end of Winter and we begin to look forward to and enjoy the season of Spring, we will be spending this week writing Winter poems and reminding ourselves of the fun we had in the snow before half-term.
Our new maths topic this term is on Numbers to 50. We will be exploring place value and using tens frames, number lines, part-whole models and base 10 equipment to help us with our learning. This week, we will recognise numbers to 50 and count objects to 50. We will be counting forwards and backwards within 50 and you will learn that numbers up to 50 are made up of some tens and some ones.
In our Science lessons this term, we will be observing changes across the seasons by exploring the signs of spring and summer through nature and wildlife. This week we will name the four seasons and list our favourite things about each season.
