Maths
In today's Maths lesson, we introduced the concept of perimeter and found the perimeter of simple quadrilaterals.
English
Today, we read the first few pages of our class text, Secrets of a Sun King, together. We then focussed on pages 4 and 5 looking at the language is used and practised answering the 'find and copy' questions that we often see in tests. Have a look at the definitions and clues provided and see if you can find the word used in the text that matches the definition given.
Art
This afternoon in Art, the children are beginning to research Tutankhamun and looking closely at his death mask. Over the next few weeks, they will be recreating this using a variety of materials.
