Phonics

We have done lots of wonderful learning of Phase 5 Phonics, so this week we are going to put our skills to the test.

Activity 1

Let's play! Can you play Picnic on Pluto and feed Bob the real words and Obb the fake words?

Press start  - Phase 5 - and then select revise all Phase 5.

Activity 2

Let's put our understanding of real and nonsense words to the test, by completing an Animal Mosaic. Please complete the 'Animal Mosaic ie ue ir' activity sheet. You'll need dark and light blue, green and brown colouring pencils.

Activity 3

Can you practise your understanding of ea and complete the Phoneme Spotter Comprehension? Read through the text really carefully, keeping an eye out for ea words, and then answer the questions at the end.
