Week 6 11/10/21
This week we will be using this book as a discussion for where we live and what we know about Faversham. We will looking at pictures of Faversham focal points and drawing maps of where we live. We will also be going on our first trip, a walk to see signs of Autumn and to collect some conkers to use in our play!
In Letters and Sounds we will continue to learn sounds and put them together to make words. We will be using magnetic boards and letters to practice this. Please continue to use your words and sounds books at home to consolidate the sounds and words we are learning in class. Thank you for your ongoing support
In Maths this week, children will focus on similarities and differences in sets of objects found in the classroom. Children will sort objects into two groups based on size, colour and shape. They will discover that groups can be sorted in different ways and into more than two groups.
