This week we are going to learn about Terrific Trees!
Do you know the names of any trees? Or the two types of trees there are?
Today you will need to go on a tree hunt! There is an activity sheet for you to complete and if you have any of the following things, that would help you on your hunt:
Activity sheet
A pencil
A magnifying glass
A clipboard to lean on
A bag to collect leaves
When you have collected your leaves, can you sort them into two groups: Evergreen and Deciduous.
Evergreen leaves are:
- thick
- waxy
- small
- narrow like needles
Deciduous leaves are:
- broad
- flat
- have veins running through them
