Today, we are going to move on from looking for symmetry within shapes and instead, look for symmetry in pictures and patterns.

       Start by logging in to the Power Maths textbook to complete today's Discover/Share pages (5-10 minutes). Once you have answered these, move on to the Think Together questions (10-15 minutes). Then, move on to your independent work. 
       If you get stuck, it might be useful to use a small mirror to check for symmetry, cut out and fold the patterns or if possible, maybe you could draw the pattern onto tracing paper as this may be clearer.
