Unit 6: Numbers to 20
During yesterday’s lesson we were learning to count numbers up to and including 20. We were also learning to write the numbers to 20 in numerals and words.
Let’s practice our counting. Watch the short video clip below and have a good move of your body whilst you are counting!
In today’s lesson, you will learn that the numbers 11-20 are made up of 1 ten and some more. Some of you will be able to express a number from 11-20 as tens and ones. For example, that the number 16 is made up of 1 ten and 6 ones.
Watch today’s White Rose video which will explain today’s learning.
I have included your main worksheet for today and for those of you who enjoy a maths challenge, I have attached 3 challenge maths cards. Choose one card to complete.
Click on the link below to play a fun mental maths game, helping you to recognise and work with two- digit numbers. If gives you the option to play the game with numbers that are between 10 and 20.
