Letters and Sounds
Today we are learning all about the sound Y. Watch this video to learn how to say the sound and to spot what it looks like:

Handwriting
Today we are learning to write the letter X. Can you write box on a piece of paper lots of times? You could use lots of different colour pens to do this. If you would like more of a challenge, you can write In the box. Remember the sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop.
Maths
Today we are learning to count ten objects accurately. Can you find ten building bricks in your house? (Lego, duplo, wooden bricks etc). Can you carefully count and move each block. What else can you count ten of? See below the photos to give you some ideas. We are learning to move each item as you count.
Creative
Can you draw/paint a picture of a birthday cake? You can draw candles, icing, decorations etc. Think about what kind of cake you would like. What colour/shape/size would it be?
