Week 2 Trains 25/4/22

This week is all about Trains. We will be making ticket offices, train tickets, signs and building trains outside. We will be talking about train trips, making maps of a train journey and building elaborate train tracks out of our huge Brio train track set. 

Our focus story this week is The Train Ride:

In Maths this week we will be starting to learn all about doubles. We will be spotting doubles using dominos. We will be learning to double a number using counters on a tens frame e.g. if the top row has 4 counters on it, the bottom row needs to have 4 counters on it to be a double.
