What is a habitat? Can you watch the videos / discuss the photos and learn about some of the different habitats within our wonderful world?

 

Deserts 

This week is a general introduction to habitats and deserts.  We will look in closer detail and learn more specific things about deserts over the new few weeks. Your task is to learn about deserts as a habitat.  Did you know that Antarctica is a desert habitat? That is because it hardly ever rains there!

As an optional activity, you could either draw or paint a desert scene and label some of its features.
