Vertices on 2D shapes

Today's lesson is about counting the vertices on 2D shapes.  A vertex is the point where two sides meet. Try not to call them 'corners' and get used to the words 'vertex' and 'vertices'.

Work through the White Rose Video Lesson and complete the Worksheet below.  There is an optional extra challenge called 'Let's Investigate Triangles'.
