Supporting Children at Home with ASD

We invited parents and carers from Ethelbert Road and local schools to a SEND workshop led by the SEND team from the Abbey School on practical strategies for supporting children at home with ASC.

The presentation was a practical one, focussing on top tips for the five most common issues experienced by our ASC (and neurodiverse) children:
• motor skills
• sensory needs
• transition
• attention
• emotional regulation
