  • Brownies Gold Award

    Fri 21 Jul 2023

    Congratulations Niamh and Evelyn (Year 5), who both received their Brownies Gold Awards on Monday. The Brownies Gold award badge was awarded to them as they have both completed all six section theme awards from the Girlguiding programme. This is a very special achievement as they are the only two Brownies in Faversham to have been awarded the Gold this year. Their leader described them as great role models and an inspiration to younger Brownies!

  • School Council 2023

    A huge thank you to our school councillors who have done a fantastic job of being the voice of the school this year. They have been busy organising discos, Ethelbert Road’s Got Talent and capturing the views of our children. They raised enough money for new blinds in the hall and brought play equipment for the playground. Well done everyone ⭐️

    Congratulations to our Sports Award winners 2023. It has been a fantastic year and we have been amazed by everyone’s sporting talent. A big thank you to Mr Mullender for his excellent coaching and Mrs Bell for driving to so many events.

  • England’s Women’s Deaf Football Team Captain

    Emma Brown, the captain of the England Women’s Deaf Football Team visited the school to share her sporting journey. The children were  excited to hear that Miss Brown will be joining us in September as our new Sports and Fitness Coach. 

  • Year 6 Residential at Windmill Hill

    Year 6 are enjoying their residential at Windmill Hill. They have enjoyed a sailing, raft building, playing aero all and fencing.

  • Year 1 Violin Concert

    Our Year 1 children enjoyed taking part in their first violin concert with Jo. They all did an amazing job! We can’t wait to see them progress. 

  • Year 6 Bugsy Malone

    Yesterdays performances of Bugsy Malone at the Alexander Centre were outstanding. The pupils were amazing and shone like the stars they are! They navigated the acting, singing and moving scenery like professionals. A big thank you to Mrs West, Mrs Calzada, Mrs Haylor and Mrs Wills and our friends Helen and Ian for making the magic happen!   • Shakespeare’s As You Like It at Oare Gunpowder Works

    Our Shakespeare Club performed a section of Shakespeare’s As You Like It at the Oare Gunpowder Works in Faversham with over 330 young people.they had the most amazing time putting into practice what they had learnt. A big thank you to Mrs West for keeping the drama and creativity alive at Ethelbert Road.
