How flexible are certain materials?

Learning Objective: To be able to find out how the shapes of solid objects made form some materials can be changed by squashing, bending, twisting and stretching

Task

• Collect different objects, like blu-tac and tissue paper which are listed on the Tally Chart below (there is one blank space for you to choose own material/object)
• Test the materials to see how squashy, bendy, twisty and stretchy they are
• Mark your results on your tally chat
• Use your tally chart to plot your results on a block diagram
