Hopefully your game is progressing well. We have written and programmed our questions, changed and added effects to our sprites, created backgrounds and added sounds to our games. This week, we are going to add something that I think is really important for a quiz game: a scoring system. This will allow your players to gain points as they answer questions correctly throughout your quiz. You might even decide to be mean and take points away for any wrong answers.

This week, I have added a scoring system to my game (see below) which means that the player gets 10 points for a correct answer and -5 points for an incorrect answer. I have also added an algorithm so that my sprite tells players how they did at the end of the game.

If you want to really push yourself, you could try some of the scoring challenges for a more complex scoring system.
