Week 4 27/9/21
Your child will be full time this week. We will be learning the full day routine of the class and continuing to share resources and make friends.
Our year 6 buddies will visit us on Wednesday to share a reading book with us. We will do this every Wednesday from now on.
In Letters and Sounds this week we will be looking at the following sounds - s a t p i n. We will be using sound buttons to show how these sounds can be blended together to make words.
In Maths this week we will be accurately counting and representing numbers to 5 on a 5 frame. We will learn how to show numbers in a variety of ways such as on a dice, on a domino, as a picture and as a numeral.
Please look at the parental whiteboard to read what we have done each day in school.
Thursday 30th September is our reading meeting for parents - we really hope that you can attend.
This week we will be using this book as a focus story. As part of our learning about ourselves we will be looking at your family photographs and discussing how we are all different. Thank you for emailing us your family photos.
