Spellings

It's spelling test day. Ask a grown-up or older sibling to test you on this week's words and see how you get on. I wonder if your families can come up with weirder and wackier sentences or paragraphs containing lots of the words than Miss Constantine does!

English

First, I'd like you to finish off The Demon Headmaster book by listening to the clip above. Then, you are going to review this text using some of the reading VIPERS skills that we have learned this year, for example, S for summarise and when you give your opinion, you will use E for explain.

I have sent attached a template if you feel that you might need one to help you or if you want to complete your learning on a computer. However, you could create your own colourful, illustrated review like some of the pictures that I have attached.

The children in school have been doing lots of singing practice this week. Perhaps you could join in with a few of our songs at home.
