Diversity and Inclusion
Tue 31 Oct 2023A huge thank you to our families who donated books for our children to learn about diversity and inclusion. At Ethelbert Road we celebrate differences, including race, gender, religion, disability, and sexual orientation. Inclusion at our school means creating an environment where every individual feels valued and respected, and where everyone has a sense of belonging.

Silver Cup Final
Thu 19 Oct 2023Congratulations to the Year 6 football team who played magnificently today in the Silver Cup. They sailed through to the final and gained 2nd place after an exciting game that went to penalties. A big well done to you all and thank you to Mrs West and Miss Brown for supporting our team at this event.

Harvest Festival at St Mary’s of Charity Church
Thu 19 Oct 2023It was lovely having so many of our families and friends join us at St Mary’s of Charity Church for our Harvest Festival. A big thank you for the donations of food for the Faversham Food Bank. I know the food was gratefully received.

Headteacher for the day
Thu 19 Oct 2023Ethelbert Road had a new Headteacher for the day! To help him run the school he chose a Deputy Head and together they did a fantastic job making sure the day ran smoothly. Well done to you both, it was an amazing last day of term!

Harvest Boxes for our Neighbours
Thu 19 Oct 2023Ethelbert Road children delivered their Harvest food boxes to our wonderful neighbours today. It was lovely hearing the lovely things they said about our school and the Harvest boxes were gratefully received.

Ethelbert Road Primary School Rockets to Success in Annual RAF STEM Challenge
Sat 07 Oct 2023Year 5 children (now our Year 6 children) had an exciting opportunity to participate in the annual RAF STEM Challenge in Term 6. This event ignited their creativity, problem-solving skills, and enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering and maths. The challenge required children to design and construct rockets capable of reaching different launch angles. Through a live stream session, our young innovators worked diligently, building the body, attaching fins, and incorporating various details to ensure their rockets soared to success.
