Today we will be identifying, naming, and sorting animals that are herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores.

Have a look at the animals on the attached Lesson Presentation. What do you think each of these animals eat? With your grown-up, read through  today’s Lesson Presentation as it explains the three diet types; herbivore, carnivore, and omnivore.

Today’s task:

Use the attached set of Animal Fact Cards to find out what each animal eats. Can you sort the animals according to diet on the Animal Diets Sorting Activity Sheet? You might like to use your own animal books to research the diets of different animals. How are the animals the same? How are they different?
