Shakespeare Club

Faversham Literary Festival
Mon 14 Mar 2022Our children took part in a short story competition run by Faversham Literary Festival. The winner won £100's worth of books for our school library.

Walk Like an Egyptian!
Sun 13 Mar 2022Year 4’s Ancient Egyptian learning came to life when they visited Maidstone Museum and learnt about mummification. The children put their knowledge and skills to the test by mummifying an orange. They also enjoyed seeing a mummy first hand and linking their learning to a real life object.

Learning from our locality
Sun 13 Mar 2022Year 1 enjoyed a trip into town as part of their Great Fire of London learning. They looked for Tudor buildings, explored the features and sketched them.
The Mayor of Faversham was very interested in their work and the children shared their learning with her.
