Spellings in 2021-2022
Each week, we will have a different spelling focus. We will learn our spellings in class on a Monday, looking at different spelling rules, letter strings, homophones, prefixes, suffixes, root words and so on. We will also explore two further common exception words per week on Sir Linkalot. These may sometimes be linked to our spelling learning that week.
Children should practise their 10 spellings at home throughout the week ready for a dictation-style check on Friday.
Week beginning 20th September 2021
