• Congratulations letter from Matt Dunkley CBE

  We were all excited to receive a letter of commendation from Matt Dunkley, CBE, this morning. The letter congratulates the school on its achievement outcomes in 2019. Here are some of the positive comments.

   

  "It is very positive to see that the school has attained well above average results at Key Stage 2"

   

  "I would also like to highlight your success in the attainment of disadvantaged pupils..."

   

  "I am please that the proportion of  pupils reaching the expected standard at the end of Key Stage 1 was above the emerging national average across all subjects"

   

  "Pupils also achieved well in the Year 1 Phonic check..."

   

• Thank you for the Christmas Tree

  The children, staff, governors and parents would like to thank Clive from Quality Christmas Trees for the donation of our 12 foot tree. The Christmas tree will be the focus of our traditional Christmas Tree Assembly, where each child will make and hang a decoration.

   

  If you would like to purchase a tree from Clive please ask the school office for details, or look out for the posters around school.
