Good Morning

Good Morning Yellow Class!
As I write this message, a little birdie has told me that snow is forecast for Sunday ... I wonder if it did snow and how much of it fell? How exciting!
How are you all? We made it, yay! Term 3, Week 6 is upon us. I really want you all to know that I am so very proud of you for coping with Remote Learning, not being in school and missing your friends. I miss you all too and I hope it's not too long before we are all back together as Yellow Class! Please tell your grown-ups how thankful I am to them for helping you with all of your Remote Learning.
I hope that you all have fun this week exploring all the different activities that we have put on the webpage, which have been inspired by the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch.
Why not start the week by finding out which garden bird you are? Take the quiz by clicking on the link below:

You could also try identifying the different bird songs which you hear:

Daily Letters and Sounds lessons will continue for this week and on Tuesday, Miss Constantine has recorded a brilliant video teaching you all about Safer Internet Day.
There is also an opportunity for you to be creative and take part in a 'Plastic Free Faversham' competition.
Have a great week everyone and please try to avoid too much screen time if you can.
Mrs Kelleher
PS. Learning to be submitted for feedback this week is up to you. Please do email me something which you are especially proud of. You might like to ask your grown-ups to video you reading part of a story (no longer than 1 minute though, grown-ups due to downloading, etc). I haven't heard you read in such a long time and I bet you've all really improved!
PPS. If the weather takes a turn, and you can't get outside much, I have attached below a great writing activity based upon Pie Corbett's Talk4Writing program. Or maybe you could be inspired to write a poem about either the snow or birds. Thank you.
