  • Go kart racing with Year 5

    Sat 28 Jun 2025

Good luck to our go kart team, The Mortifying Mummies, who are racing today at  Phinia Delph. Year 5 children had the most amazing experience of designing, building and racing a go kart as part of their STEM learning. The project came to an end with all children having an opportunity to drive the go kart on the playground and they learnt skills they can take forward with them in later life. A big thank you to Mr Adkins, Mrs Davies, Mrs Nock and Mrs West for making this happen.

Year 2 would like to say a big thank you to Isaac V's Mummy who came in to talk to us all about her work with the charity, Mission Aviation Fellowship.  She talked to us about how the MAF transport aid such as medicine, water and doctors to remote places in the world.  Thank you for making it so interactive - the children loved discovering some of the items which might be transported on one of the MAF's planes.
