Homework in Year 4

Year 4 children are expected to complete the following learning at home on a regular basis.

Reading:
Reading at home regularly is important and has incredible benefits for future learning. 

Spelling:

The children will be given spellings to learn at home on Mondays and they will be checked in school on Fridays. The children will receive a sheet with their weekly spellings on and this sheet will also be uploaded here on Monday afternoon. 

Times Tables:
The children will be given a Times Table to learn at home on Mondays and it will be checked on Fridays. They will work through the Times Tables 0-12 in Term 1 and Term 2. From Term 3 onwards, they will have a Times Table check on Fridays pulled from all of the different tables.
