Our topic for Term 1 will be: 

The Great Fire of London

Events during Term 1: 

Friday 11th September: Online Julia Donaldson Gruffalo Granny reading session

Friday 16th October: Online Great Fire of London Workshop delivered by London Museum

Wednesday 21st October: Online Great Fire of London Documents and Sources Workshop delivered by National Archives

• Start time: Drop off is at 8.40am and pick-up is at 3.15pm at the Purple Class door.
• New reading books will be sent home on Thursdays. Books are to be brought back daily to allow your child to read to Miss Clark, Mrs Jago, Mrs Da Costa or a reading volunteer. Please read with your child at home as often as possible. You can also access the online Rocket Phonics books!
• The Spelling Check will take place on Thursdays commencing on 24th September.
• P.E. is on Wednesdays - Please send your child to school in their P.E. kit, and earrings are to be removed.
