In ‘The Enormous Turnip’, the team have to work together to pull the turnip out of the ground.  Discuss the words push and pull.

 

What else can you find in your house that needs to be pulled. What can you find that needs to be pushed?

 

Have a look at the pictures on the document below and decide if they are a push or a pull picture. If you want to you can cut them all up and then sort them into two pile (a push pile and a pull pile)
