A turnip is a vegetable so today we are going to be using any vegetables you have in your house and talking about sizes and shapes.

Can you find some vegetables in your house and put them in size order? Look at the picture below to see mine!  I have done the biggest vegetable first but you may choose to do the smallest one first.  When you have done that can you discuss which vegetables would roll and which would not? Can you work out what shape they need to be to be able to roll?  When you have finished this task you could use the vegetables to make some yummy soup! My favourite soup is butternut squash what is yours?
