Learning for 11th - 15th May

Hi Blue Class,

I hope you are all well! I miss you all and love hearing from you through the week. It makes me smile so much when I get to hear from you and really makes my day, especially when I get to see your fabulous work or hear how much you are enjoying your learning!

Remember, as always, I have put lots of work up to keep you going in your learning but I don’t expect you to get it all done. I think there is actually more work up here for you than we would normally manage in a week at school! However, this means you can pick the work that is best for you each day and you have lots of choice about the best way you can learn. Some days you might get lots and lots done and other days you might not, some days you might do exactly what I’ve set and other days you might decide to do something different to help yourself learn. The main thing you need to be doing is staying healthy and happy with your families!

This week I have set some learning about houses in Roman Britain which I hope you will enjoy! I have also uploaded the next five chapters of Tom’s Midnight garden (which we will finish next week!) and uploaded lots of fun ideas in our ‘Boredom Busters’ page. I think I have also fixed the problem with the Kahoots I was setting (I was a Wally and forgot to set them as challenges after the first week – oops!) So hopefully you can have a go at those again, if you would like to!

Remember if you need me or want to show off your work then you can email Mrs Kirkbride on headteacher@ethelbert-road.kent.sch.uk and put Miss Tucker in the subject line so she can send it on to me.
