Monday Morning Message

Please play this message to your child.

Good morning everyone!

We hope that you have all had a lovely weekend and are all keeping safe and well. It has been wonderful to keep in touch with so many of you via e mail and we have loved seeing the amazing work you are doing at home with our class. This week our story is Goldilocks and the three bears and we hope that you enjoy our activities this week.

Learning to be emailed to us for feedback  This week we would like you to email us a photo of your child`s story map and then we will email you back with feedback. If your child is not keen to do a story map perhaps they could draw a picture of the story instead for us. Please send it to our class e mail address anytime during the week before Thursday evening.  We are always happy to receive pictures of any other work done at home during the week so if you wish to send them in to us please do so.

Numbots Login and Maths Challenge I have a personalised Numbots login for each of you to use during the lock down so please e mail us on YR@ethelbert-road.kent.sch.uk requesting your login if you would like it emailed to you. (It is not essential for you to have this, it is merely if you want it)  Numbots is a fun interactive Maths game which really helps boost number skills for Maths and you can work your way through the levels at the right speed for you. We will also be adding a Maths Challenge activity at the bottom of some days Maths pages for those of you that would like to try a more challenging Maths task instead. With these challenges please make sure your child can really explain their answers and how they got them.

Contacting us We are always on the end of an email(YR@ethelbert-road.kent.sch.uk) so please do keep in touch. Everyone`s circumstances are different and we fully understand this so please just do whatever home learning you can manage and please let us know if we can help you in any way at all. The most important thing is for everyone to stay safe.

We miss you all

Mrs Stembridge, Miss Nutt and Miss Silcox
